I have been working on updating packages on an old pkglinux system. I still need to solve the problem where I have glibc as a package and my LOCALBASE is /usr and I need the build system to know that a getopt, pthread, dlopen, and others are available.

(pkglinux is my Linux distro I started and have been using off-and-on since late 2003. It uses pkgsrc has the packaging system.)
