Regarding non-working keyboard on amd64 system (see 11/Jul/2006 entry). Same problem happened to me again today when I installed 3.1 on my laptop.

To work-around this problem, I stopped my boot loader by pressing space bar. Then ran "boot -c".

Then at the userconf prompt I typed "disable ohci" and then "quit".

Then I could boot.
