Worked on fixing a bug in my custom pkg_add so when it upgrades versions it doesn't (accidently) remove the database entries for the files in the dependent packages too.

The pkgtools/pkg_install/PLIST for man pages may be wrong. Also, may need path to pkg_admin which is ran at install time. Also, provided improved COMMENT and more DESCR. send-pr: pkg/21858: for pkg_install: improved DESCR, man page path, and use PKG_TOOLS_BIN (Closed by Grant on 11/Oct/2003; he said DESCR and COMMENT had already been improved ... and ensure pkg_admin is called with the full path and use the right directory for man pages in the PLIST.)

Discussed emailing MESSAGEs again.

Tested openmotif build under Linux. Still didn't work (pkg/19860).

I first noticed in November and then again in April, I reported this: When using LOCALBASE=/usr with pkgsrc, the buildlinking of the x11-links gets adjusted, so when copied the ../../../../ is wrong path. (This is done in CheckSymlink() of pkg_install's create.pl.c) send-pr: pkg/21863: wrong x11-links symlinks with LOCALBASE=/usr

Wrote a manual page for audit-packages (and download-vulnerability-list). Send-pr: pkg/21865: here's a manpage for audit-packages The dots on the start of the nroff lines were missing -- my mailout was broken, so I fixed it. (wiz used the manpage and patches and made some slight changes; he closed the PR on 12/Jun/2003.)
