"pstat -T" said my vnodes were around 4396. I used "sysctl -w kern.maxvnodes=10000" to bump this from my default 4401. Later pstat showed that my vnodes use was at 4497.

sysutils/e2fsprogs excludes fsck and fsck.8. This should only be excluded on some platforms. I send-pr'd a patch. pkg/19477: e2fsprogs under Linux should include fsck. (jschauma made the suggested changes and closed this PR on 16/Feb/2003.)

On Nov. 6, I patched devel/flex so it would build under Linux. send-pr'd today: pkg/19480: devel/flex should be only for SunOS. ("agc made it possible to build this package on Linux." Closed on 22/Dec/2002.)

On Nov. 27, I patched archivers/zip so it would build under Linux. send-pr'd patch today: pkg/19481: archivers/zip work for Linux ("agc applied the fix in the PR - thanks for that." Closed on 22/Dec/2002.)

I sent some of the patches for pkg/18886 -- for having a GNU_PROGRAM_PREFIX.
