fmt(1) has some bug where the 1030th character is replaced. (I found it when I was trying to format a bunch of email addresses all onto one line.) So I send-pr'd it: bin/17524.

I tried using gdb to find problem.

Tried to install devel/ddd package. It wouldn't build. So I sent another send-pr: pkg/17526. (PR closed on 09/Jul/2003; the problem was just "Cannot fork" which was a temporary local issue.)
