If Exim logs say "Spool file is locked", then some Exim process is working on the message. Use exiwhat (as root):
# exiwhat 151 3.12 daemon: -q30m, listening on port 25 24556 3.12 delivering 175sKj-0006O3-00 to rainer.esd189.org [164.116.17.60] (ehall@esd189.org
Some notes from yesterday's package update script:
- tin never installed, because needed "ACCEPTABLE_LICENSES+=no-profit".
- perl5 was patched, configured, and built 22 times; install was attempted 15 times.
- communicator-4.79, netscape-4.79 and ns-flash-5.0.47 were installed three times.
- digest, libao, libogg, libvorbis, pth, teTeX-share, teTeX-sharesrc, tgif, unzip, x11-links and xforms were installed two times each.
Installed galeon via pkgsrc. It took over four hours to build and install. It installed libxml, scrollkeeper, glib, gtk+, gdk-pixbuf, gindent, ORBit, mozilla, netpbm (good I need that to make icons!), imlib, gnome-libs, libglade, popt, oaf, GConf, gnome-vfs, and gdk-pixbuf-gnome. Galeon seems to work fine.
Installed abiword again from pkgsrc. First it died because of my patch for fixing spelling, but now that's integrated. The next build took about 19 minutes.
