Another PR (16029) was like mine about missing gtk.h. This helped me notice that the path to it was way wrong:

-I/usr/pkg/pkgsrc/x11/gnome-libs/work/.buildlink/pkgsrc/x11/gnome-libs/work/
.buildlink/include/gtk-1.2

(Notice how it repeats the same path.) The buildlink for gtk has a couple sed expressions. But I am not sure what is going on. (I need to learn buildlink better.)
