Not really NetBSD specific: Noticed my sendmail-replacement, mailout, had stopped working a couple days ago so I hadn't received any system email or cron messages. connect() was erroring with errno 13 EACCES "Permission denied". Realized that gethostbyname wasn't working, but not reporting or quitting correctly. The routine to set the mailserver host name (to MAILHUB) didn't copy the last character "0". Funny how this worked for months before!
