[debian] Installed vorbis-tools (and prerequisites) all from source on antelope. Had to do a couple workarounds (documented here).
Then used my streamogg on my NetBSD box to play some wav files (converted to Ogg Vorbis on the fly) over the internet to antelope (different physical location).
talk(1) manual page doesn't indicate that it needs a talk daemon. The talkd(8) manual page doesn't indicate that it should be run as a standalone daemon or via inetd. talkd is installed as ntalkd; no manual page for ntalkd. If talkd isn't listening (via inetd for example), then I received this message: "Checking for invitation on caller's machine". Also, the documentation doesn't mention about using to/from an X term. * need to send-pr all this
