I wanted to package wvware which was formerly called mswordview. AbiWord has a tough time with a lot of Word and RTF (Rich Text Format) documents. (Ted does a lot better with RTF than AbiWord. RTF is Microsoft's "open" contribution.) I have had great success with mswordview in the past. But if I remember correctly, AbiWord uses the mswordview library. Well anyways, I see it is already packaged (pkgsrc/textproc/mswordview). I also see antiword which I should try. * I should send-pr that mswordview has old name and old URL.
