Started troubleshooting vm-pop3d building under Compaq Tru64 Unix 5.1a. The /usr/include/sys/socket.h only defines socklen_t, if _XOPEN_SOURCE>=500 or _POSIX_PII_SOCKET is defined. My work-around was to manually define it myself.

I see that the non-gcc compiler gives all types of strange warnings and problems.
