Used up all memory on my CD-based system to test:
Aug 7 02:09:46 /netbsd: UVM: pid 2816 (gimp-1.2), uid 0 killed: out of swap
All though that process was killed, the system still had good performance with the many other tools.

When I switched virtual consoles when I shut down X, the screen was never switched to text mode (just black). So I couldn't see anything. I could type "startx" and get back to X though.

Send-pr: security/17873: can local users panic the system using the kqueue mechanism? About FreeBSD kqueue security issue. Looks like it should apply to NetBSD 1.6+. (Fixed and closed by Jaromir D. for kqueue branch on 08/Aug/2002.)

Using trafshow, but it is giving weird results. For example, it is showing port numbers that netstat doesn't see and is saying "smtp" for "www" connections (although it is a local connection). trafshow also shows connections on other systems on the lan.
