First tried to grab xsrc/xfree but it only grabbed CVS info and then deleted it when done. Then I forgot I was checking out the 1.5 release which doesn't have the xfree directory (4.0.x). Grabbed xsrc via cvs. Trying to build kdrive (tinyx). Having many problems!

Worked on creating a new sysinst -- I call it quicksysinst. Basically, I added a macro definition called QUICKINSTALL and it bypasses all menus and sets the defaults if doing an automatic quick install.

In regards to my diary comments from 17/Jan/2001. The curses-based menus in sysinst are generated from /usr/share/misc/menu_sys.def using the menuc tool. menu_sys.def is the file that maybe should use Alternative Character Set definitions instead of generic asterisks. I emailed current-users for advice on this.
