Computer Camps
We offer computer camps for youth (and training/training for professionals), covering basic Internet usage, webpage designing and assembling computers.
Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Payments can be made by cash, checks or money orders made out to Reed Publishing.
We have a $10 fee for cancellations received after third business day before the start of the camp.

Learn to create and publish your own webpages. Basic webpage designing with graphics, sounds and links. Students will build basic webpages and publish them on to the Web.
The computer camp will
introduce Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and cover basic design, layout,
graphics and uploading files with ftp for
publication on the web. Advanced students can learn more HTML, forms,
graphic design, Javascript and Perl programming.

Space is limited. Limit of 10 students per session. Basic computer and keyboard usage required. Familiarity with Internet helpful. (Internet Basics class also offered.)
An introduction to using the internet for homework, research, hobbies, downloading images. Also effective email communication will be taught.
Basic familiarity with computers, keyboard and mouse required.
Class limited to 5 students.
This hands-on class will teach you how to build a IBM PC-compatible computer from scratch.
Starting with empty cases (with power supplies), we will install motherboards, cpus, memory, floppy drives, hard drives and CD-ROM drives. Students will also learn how to configure the computer's BIOS.
If time allows, the campers will install sound or networking cards and explore operating system installations and system utilities, like fdisk and format.
This class is limited to 15 students.
