Which ones do you prefer? Do you have any better ideas?

My proposed designs were:
The book is for a computer networking technical audience. But the
topic area is computer and internet history. Some ideas may include
photos of computer hardware from the 1970s and 1980s that run the
software. Some examples are:
DEC PDP-11/70;
DEC Vax 11/780;
DEC Vax 11/750;
DEC MicroVAX II;
HP 9000 series 300, 320, 350 workstations;
Lear Siegler ADM-3A terminal;
or HP 2645 terminal.
These are just ideas, I can track down some permissions for some photos.

Another idea is front cover is the old green display used with a pdp-11 and use that old console font for the sub-title, title, byline. I found an example of the console terminal used as a book cover at http://www.amazon.com/Extra-Life-Coming-Age-Cyberspace/dp/0465012361
A google images search for "LSI ADM3A", or "Lear Siegler ADM-3A" will show them.
Or use entire cover to display the old console so only the right side of terminal is on front cover and backside has left side.
